After the war, in 1872 Ezekial Proctor accidentally shot Pauline Hildebrand and touched off a feud that resulted in an shootout at the Goingsnake Court House.
During the civil war, federal troops occupied this land. It was one of the oldest working mills in the U.S. In the late 1830's the Hildebrand-Beck Mill was being built, right across the street from our property, along the creek. Interesting thing about this property is the history. Perfect for relaxing, hiking, kayaking, tubing, or fishing. Currently its a tiny home getaway, with a modern rustic interior, wrap around porch, and fire pit. Trees were cut down and milled to build this grain bin in the early 80's. Located on the scenic Historic Oklahoma Waterway enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique grain bin that was built on site, using local timber in an effort to store the grain from the fields.
